Food Drinks

The Holland Festival provides a unique opportunity to taste, or buy, or take away Dutch delicacies such as our cheeses, poffertjes (small bite sized pancakes), and Dutch licorices ( Dropjes) There are also many stalls that sell packaged Dutch products to take home. 

You can tuck into a plate of stampot boerenkool with sausage, or a bread roll with herrings, and of course Dutch fries with mayonnaise (patat met).  The menu goes on with croquettes and frikandellen, and smoked eel.  Feel like something sweet, then delicious coffee and Limburgse vlaai, oliebollen (Dutch donuts) and many other sweets are also available. 

A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for sale including Grolsch Beer. 

All this wonderful food is provided by volunteer workers from the many Dutch Clubs who are involved with the Holland Festival.
